Antibody–drug conjugates or ADCs are a class of targeted therapies that are designed to treat cancer by killing tumor cells while sparing healthy cells. ADCs are complex molecules composed of a biologically active cytotoxic payload linked to an antibody that targets cancer.

Radioligand therapy (RLT) allows the delivery of radioactive particles to cells within a tumor. The decay of radionuclides releases radiation, killing both the cells to which they are bound as well as nearby cells. RLTs are a promising modality to target cancer-associated proteins that are not amenable to treatment with ADCs.
